The first port of call for business support in Sandwell has moved – to larger premises at Sandwell College’s Central Campus in West Bromwich.
All businesses in Sandwell can use the Sandwell Business Solutions Centre, which is designed to make a positive impact in and around the borough.
Based on the national award-winning BSC Centres already established in Wolverhampton, Telford, Hereford and Wyre Forest, the Sandwell Business Solutions Centre was originally set up in 2015 in the CAP Centre in Smethwick.
The relocation of the business hub has been made possible, thanks to partnership working between the University of Wolverhampton, Sandwell Council and Sandwell College.
Businesses can benefit from a wide range of services and access to:
• Business-facing staff from the university and the council’s Think Sandwell Business Growth Team, working in collaboration with Sandwell College and the Black Country Chamber
• Support to enable their companies to grow and funding and start-up advice
The centre will also host workshops, and provide leadership development programmes and mentoring, as well as access to technology, ranging from drone hire to cyber security support.
