In Detail

Jobseekers can view the latest jobs and apprenticeships available with local employers, including short-term opportunities made available by the current situation.

Sandwell Council's deputy leader and cabinet member for employment and skills Councillor Danny Millard said: "With so many people either out of work or on furlough at the moment, this is a great opportunity to consider a new career or gain new skills.

"There is a wide range of accredited online courses available and our fantastic advisers can offer online support with everything from CV writing and online applications to interview practice.

"Our Connexions team are also working hard, helping Sandwell's young people who haven't taken exams this year and unemployed young people who aren’t sure what will happen next and have questions.

"The council is also supporting local employers, with support in recruiting staff or advice on training courses available to their current staff."
