In Detail

Local businesses and community organisations in Sandwell are invited to share their ideas and comments about town plans across the borough’s six towns.

The Sandwell Six Towns drop-in event runs from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday (11 January) at Portway Lifestyle Centre, Newbury Lane, Oldbury, to share their ideas and comments about town plans and how they are developed.

Councillor Syeda Khatun, Sandwell Council’s deputy leader, said: “This is a great opportunity for businesses and community organisations to get involved in shaping the future of our six towns.

“The event will set out priorities and ambitions for each of the towns. This is all part of our Vision 2030 to make sure Sandwell continues to develop as a great place to live, work and invest. Senior managers will be on hand to answer any questions.”
