Local businesses can meet with six of the region’s biggest buyers in a potentially lucrative ‘meet the buyer’ and networking event in Wolverhampton next month.
Opportunities for Success will take place on Thursday 6 November at GTG Training Academy on Wolverhampton Science Park from 8am to 1pm.
Carillion, Centro, Keepmoat Homes, Speller Metcalfe, Thomas Vale and Wates are all inviting prospective suppliers to join them for one-to-one meetings in the event’s Buyers’ Lounge.
Delegates at the free event can also take part in training taster sessions covering business skills and health and safety, provided by GTG’s expert trainers.
First-hand updates about opportunities in the local economy – which is predicted to be among the fastest-growing in the UK during the coming years – will be provided by Wolverhampton City Council cabinet member Councillor Peter Bilson.
‘Access all areas’ tours will give attendees a chance to see behind the scenes at the hi-tech facility on Bearing Drive, while open networking and a broad range of exhibition stands from dozens of leading local businesses will help business people to make valuable new contacts.
Under one roof
The organisers said that the event will be a ‘one-stop-shop for doing business’ where delegates can meet high-profile buyers, hear from local economic leaders, try out the training facilities and network with a huge variety of business owners, directors and decision-makers, all under one roof.
The finditintheblackcountry business network has organised the event alongside GTG Training Academy, which is celebrating a successful first year in Wolverhampton.
Online booking of free places and instructions for requesting one-to-one meetings, taster sessions and exhibition stands can all be found by visiting the event listing:
