In Detail

Mismanagement of stress is costing UK businesses £30bn per year, with close to 1 in 3 employees experiencing poor mental health whilst in employment. With this in mind, a short presentation delivered by Katie Buckingham, Director of Altruist Enterprises, will give an introduction on how to prevent and identify the early signs of stress in the workplace and help support colleagues more effectively.

The talk will cover the following:

  • What is stress?
  • Workplace stress and the law
  • Early warning signs
  • Talking top tips

In addition, Black Country Chamber of Commerce would also like to update delegates on the current AIM for the Black Country programme. AIM for the Black Country is a service being offered to SMEs to enhance growth and competitiveness.

This event is free.
