On Monday 24 February you are invited to hear more about the plans for Birmingham 2022 and discover how you, your cultural organisation or group can get involved.

Birmingham 2022 Cultural Programme's Open Event will be an opportunity to hear more about the plans for the Commonwealth Games Festival, the conversations with the sector and how this has informed the strategic, creative and organisational way forward.

Birmingham 2022 will talk about how the festival will be curated and what the opportunities will be to get involved.

Following a successful event held in September 2019, attendees will again hear from partners about their plans and the session will be opened by:

Julian Lloyd Webber, Principal of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

This event is free and open to individual artists, arts organisations and creative groups.

Due to capacity, places are limited to one representative per organisation or group and will be managed on a first come, first served basis.
