In Detail

With Operations Manager Jonathan White, you will see first-hand how the museum is reducing its carbon footprint whilst preserving the area’s industrial heritage.

They’ve introduced LED lighting, achieved zero waste-to-landfill and are migrating heating systems away from oil.

You'll also hear from business energy experts ProEnviro Ltd about practical steps that you can take at your premises to reduce energy costs. Plus there’ll be time to meet like-minded businesses and representatives from our event partners The Black Country Growth Hub and Black Country Chamber of Commerce, over a networking lunch.

This exclusive event is free to attend as part of the Low Carbon Workspaces programme; an ERDF-funded grant scheme that offers up to £5,000 to small and medium sized businesses to invest in energy saving measures, such as LED lighting, electric vehicles and equipment upgrades.

Places are limited to two people per organisation, with priority given to businesses based or operating in the Black Country.

Please book online below, or email info@lowcarbonworkspaces.co.uk / Tel: 01494-927131.
